Dear colleague,
Keeping the D&B ship on course is challenging. The biggest headwind we're currently experiencing is finding suitable colleagues. Security Hosts, in particular, are becoming increasingly difficult to contract. This means it's all hands on deck for recruitment, marketing, planning, and HR. But this actually affects us all.
In the box below, you'll see the new locations where we're allowed to start. We're proud of this, but frankly, we're also a little nervous. Know that at head office, we're doing everything we can to win the war for talent, using all the resources at our disposal.

In this newsletter, we also have some fantastic new clients and locations to announce!
Adyen is a Dutch technology company focused on payment services. They offer a platform that allows businesses worldwide to accept and process payments, both online and in physical stores. They have a beautiful office on Rokin in Amsterdam and are located next door to another of our clients: NRC. D&B will begin providing security services there on October 1st.
AstraZeneca is a global biopharmaceutical company developing innovative medicines, primarily in the areas of cancer, cardiovascular disease, kidney and metabolic diseases, lung diseases, and rare diseases. D&B will establish a truly multi-service offering here, offering all the services!
The Schiphol VIP Center is an exclusive service for travelers who want to travel comfortably, quickly, and discreetly. It includes private check-in, a VIP lounge, and private transportation to the aircraft. D&B is responsible for the chauffeur services and the service desk.

VITALITY WEEK:
JOIN IN AND WIN!
The 11th edition of National Vitality Week will take place from September 22nd to 28th, 2025. For five days, everything will be focused on your well-being, both mentally and physically.
We believe it's crucial that you feel good about yourself, so we've come up with something fun. Something that requires little time or effort, yet can have a big impact on how you feel: Vitality Week D&Bingo!
From now on, we'll be handing out special D&Bingo cards with stickers at our locations. These cards feature ten mini-challenges that you can complete at your own pace and cover with a sticker. The more you complete, the better. At the end of the week, take a picture of your card with stickers and email it to the address on the card.
Three Decathlon vouchers worth €50 will be raffled off the following week. How fun!

MEMBER PROFILE:
AMADOU LOUWS
In this edition, we meet Amadou Louws, a Hospitality Host at the TotalEnergies headquarters in The Hague. He previously worked as a Hospitality Host at MN Services in The Hague and also as a mobile Hospitality Host at D&B.
Just like Nina in the previous newsletter, Amadou has a great talent for dance. In 2013, he graduated from the dance academy and began his career as a professional dancer. Because the dance market in France was more favorable, he moved to Nice. There, he performed in shows along the Côte d’Azur and walked in fashion shows for major brands.
Does he miss dancing? Amadou answers resolutely: “No, but I look back on it with a very good feeling.” However, his passion lives on: he still teaches breakdance and capoeira workshops and occasionally participates in battles with friends.
Today, Amadou lives in The Hague. Still on his own, but that's about to change. In April, he got married in a mosque and in July engaged to a beautiful woman from Senegal. This is extra special, because Amadou is also half-Senegalese. Last week, he finally got married officially. In Senegal, marriage follows a complex, traditional process, the opposite of the Netherlands. From September onwards, everything will be official, both in church and by law. Amadou now hopes his wife can come to the Netherlands soon. She has completed a degree in tourism and dreams of a career in that field. Until then, the miles are flying by: Amadou travels to Senegal every two to three months, which takes up all his vacation time.
Amadou comes from a unique family. His mother is Senegalese, his father a native of Rotterdam. He has two brothers: one lives in Paris and works as an engineer for Air France, the other lives in Warnsveld – just like their parents, who consciously sought out the peace and quiet and nature of the Achterhoek region.
What Amadou has certainly retained from his Senegalese roots is his fluency in French. And that's proving very useful at TotalEnergies, where French is spoken regularly.

Hi! My name is Remco Bruijns. I'm 29 years old, a father of four, a sports fanatic (including football and padel), a festival-goer, and a recruiter.
I've been working at D&B as a Recruitment Team Lead since February 2025. Our recruitment team consists of five recruiters, each responsible for vacancies within D&B's streams. In addition to my team lead duties, I'm also responsible for the Security stream.
The beauty of recruitment is that it's never just me. It's a process for all of us. It revolves around collaboration, employership, and visibility, among other things. Finding and inspiring potential new colleagues is something we do together. You can contribute to this too.

INNOVATIONS ATJ ASML:
THE D&B REMOTE HOST!
Over the past year, a lot of time has been invested in development and innovation at ASML. And hard work pays off, we'll be launching several innovations at the end of this year…
Remote Host
On November 10th, it's finally happening: the launch of the Remote Host at ASML! 🎉
A 2D kiosk will be installed in phases at three reception desks – 70, 7, and 8 – to welcome visitors live from the ASML studio. What makes this innovation unique? The kiosk is fully custom-designed, featuring badge issuance and passport/ID verification. This allows the Host to perform all tasks remotely as if they were physically present. A smart solution that grows with ASML and responds to the efficient deployment of employees.
Cleanroom Security Screening
And that's not all. Starting in November, the Security team will achieve a second scoop: for the first time they will be using XRay screening for cleanroom access at a client. Just like at Schiphol Airport, baggage goes through a scanner, and visitors walk through a detector themselves.
In short: D&B and ASML are setting the tone in the facilities industry together. ✨
